The Webinar I did on ICLUB.com "How 'I' Analyze a Stock" is available online.  Click the title to be taken to another site where a link to the presentation is available.

The Analyze the Annual Report spreadsheet has been modified--again--it's now version

3.28.  A quarterly look at a comparison of Dividends paid and Cash Flow has been added.  It's an indication of whether the Dividend is likely to be cut.

Here is some important information---Plan to attend.  I'll be teaching four topics.and would love to see you there.

InvestED 2009  -- Salt Lake City, Utah -- August 7-9, 2009

InvestEd 2008 in Charlotte, NC was a great success with a 27% increase in the number of fully paid attendees.  Wow!--and thanks from the InvestEd Team.  And, thanks to our great sponsors.  If you weren't there, plan to attend InvestEd 2009 in Salt Lake City  August 7 - 9, 2009. We'll be at the Sheraton hotel, with a group room rate of $109+tax until our room block is sold out. The hotel offers free Internet in guest rooms to our attendees and a complimentary shuttle to/from the airport. The early-bird registration ends May 31st, so beat that deadline.  All meals are included--from Saturday breakfast through Sunday lunch.  No extra charge for any meals. This is the most economical national event you'll find.

Arrive by noon Friday and attend the Leadership Training program--just check the box on the Registration form--that's the only requirement for attending--space is limited however.  With an economical hotel rate (only two hotel nights needed as a minimum) and with meals furnished, the cost is reasonable--and the cost of a flight to SLC is decreasing, as are most flights.

UPDATE:  I just returned from there, participating in a planning meeting for InvestEd.  The hotel is right downtown, a couple of blocks from the free light-rail which can take you to the Mormon Temple, shopping, and a mini tour of the city.  (Do you know you can visit the Mormon Temple during choir practice?)  I was impressed with the cleanliness of the city and the ability to walk anywhere, anytime.  And, we walked to one of the micro-breweries for dinner. It was obviously one of the hot spots in the city--great food and atmosphere--and not expensive.  The Geonology Center is close by if you want to peek into your family history.

There's much to do in the city and the surrounding areas, plan to stay a few extra days.  Ride the free light-rail system to historic city center sites and the Gateway Mall, an open-air shopping, dining, and entertainment destination developed around Salt Lake City’s original 1908 train station. Treat yourself to a meal at one of the microbreweries. Travel less than half an hour to explore a mountain trail or linger by a rushing stream. Enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains, a glorious backdrop to a dynamic urban skyline.
